This is an obvious question to ask, and the simple answer is that you are legally allowed to ride a mobility scooter without a driver’s license. However if you intend to ride it on public roads it must be registered for road use and you will need a license and nil duty tax disc. To be eligible for use on the road your mobility scooter must be able to reach speeds above 4mph.
You also will not need registration plates nor a Disability Badge to use a mobility scooter.
